Itinerary
Welcome to Jordan!
Arrive at Queen Alia International Airport. Your driver will be waiting for you at the arrivals lobby to transfer you to your hotel.
Overnight in Amman.
Driving time:
QAIA to Amman – Approx. 45 minutes.
Tour the old city of Amman, where you can also explore the Citadel and the Roman Theatre, two of the most popular archaeological sites in the city. Then walk through the old market close to the Al-Husseini Mosque, and stop at a local restaurant to sample authentic Falafel and Hummus. Later on, you will drive to the predominantly Christian town of Madaba and discover the amazing Byzantine mosaics excavated from throughout the town. Continue to Mount Nebo and marvel at the view where Moses looked across to the Promised Land, later died and was buried. Afterwards head south towards the Nabataean city of Petra.
Overnight in Petra.
Driving distances:
Amman to Madaba – around 45 mins – 1 hour.
Madaba and Mount Nebo – around 20 mins.
Madaba to Petra – around 4 hours.
A master piece half as old as time: the Red Rose City of Petra. Explore its many caves and tombs; walk through the Siq; admire the magnificent Treasury, the entrance guarding the ancient Nabatean city – now one of the Modern 7 Wonders of the World. If there’s enough time, you can discover the vast city further, such as Qasr Al-Bint or the Royal Tombs.
Later that day, drive to Wadi Rum for a roughly 2-hour sunset Jeep tour. Enjoy the hospitality of the Bedouins and spend the night under the stars in the peaceful desert.

From Petra to Wadi Rum – around 2 hours.
After breakfast you will drive to the lowest point on earth to float in and relax at the Dead Sea. Enjoy the sunshine and view whilst trying out the invigorating mud bath to cleanse the skin.

Driving distance:
From Wadi Rum to Dead Sea – around 4 hours.
Collection from the Dead Sea and transfer to Queen Alia International Airport.
Dead Sea to the airport: Approx. 1 hour.
