Anticipated Timeline for Border Crossing:

Day 1
07:00 am – Pick up from your location in Amman.

07:50 am – Arrival at the Jordanian Terminal of King Hussein/ Allenby Bridge. The terminal opens at 08:00 am – when you can enter and pay the exit tax.

08:30 am – Board the standard Border Service Shuttle Bus which crosses the 5km of no man’s land between the terminals.

08:45 am – Arrive at the Israeli terminal and go through security checks, immigration and customs.

10:00 am – Meet your driver at the taxi booth outside the Israeli terminal.

10:15 am – Depart from the border crossing to Jerusalem.

11:00 am – Arrive at your chosen destination in Jerusalem.

Day 2
2:00 pm – Arrive at the Israeli Terminal of Allenby / King Hussein Bridge. Enter the Terminal and pay the exit tax.

3:00 pm – Board the standard Border Service Shuttle Bus which crosses the 5Km of no man’s land between the terminals.

4:15 pm – Arrive at the Jordanian terminal and complete security checks, immigration and customs

4:45 pm – Meet your Jordanian driver at the terminal and depart from the border to Amman.

*Please note, this is only an example and times can vary according to various factors (e.g. how busy the border crossing is, security procedures, etc.).

* The border is controlled by the Jordanian and Israeli governments, so we referred to the building on each side as the Israeli or Jordanian terminal.
